Here is a list of the top 10 Wisconsin destinations. Wisconsin may be considered a “Midwestern state,” but it is also a very beautiful state. Wisconsin is a very fun state to visit.

1. Gate County

3. The Historic House of the Octagon – Fond du Lac

This 12-room house was part of the Underground Railroad. It features a hand-dug tunnel and nine passageways. Although it is a private residence, the owners offer tours when reserved in advance. Items on display include:

4. Wind Point Lighthouse – Wind Point

The #4 location in Wisconsin’s Top 10 Vacation Destinations includes a fully automated lighthouse that is open to the public on the second Sunday in June, August, September, and October. The grounds are open all year.

5. Lumberjack Steam Train – Laona

10. Bay Beach Amusement Park – Green Bay

Madison is also well known for its famous Farmer’s Market every Saturday starting in April and ending in October at Capitol Square. You won’t believe how many booths there are in Capitol Square! Very refreshing and enjoyable social time!
