The World of Warcraft Guide to Farming Linen Fabrics

Don’t have money in your first start? This World of Warcraft guide will teach you a surefire way to make a decent profit for you to spend as you please! Like any game, World of Warcraft needs money to equip your character to be stronger and fight better. The auction house uses silver and gold as currency. Gold Farming in World of Warcraft is quite easy, even if you are new. One of the items that sells out pretty quickly on the auction house and can be easily farmed is Linen Cloth, which is found in all low level areas when you kill certain types of creatures. Linen cloth is used to make linen bandages for the first aid profession, which is quite useful if you have a character that can’t heal itself. Starting around level 6 to 7 (depending on your class), you should be able to farm linen easily (1 to 3 drops each time) by farming various types of creatures depending on where you started.

If you started out as an undead, the best thing to do is farm humanoid Scarlet Crusaders in Tirisfal Glades, between Brill and Undercity. If you started out as a gnome or dwarf, then the Dun Morogh area offers the best farming when targeting various targets, namely Wendigos, Frostman Trolls, and Leper Gnomes. Starting as a human in the Stormwind area, you should then go to Elwynn Forest targeting Kobolds near two mines, namely Fargodeep and Jasperdole, or target Bandits, Humans and Gnolls alike.

For orc and troll players you should get a partner or a group and farm inside Ragefire Chasm as troggs and Burning Blade orcs drop large amounts of around 3-5 linen per kill sometimes. If you started out as a Tauren, Venture Co. Miners east of Thunder Bluff is the best place to farm. New night elves in the Teldrassil area should try farming Sprites, Grells, and Gnarlpines. Blood elves starting near Silvermoon should target undead creatures like skeletons that roam the area.

Linen cloth max stack is 20 and usually sells at least 1 gold depending on which server you are on and the availability of the item. An hour of farming if you have no competition can give you an average of 100 linen cloths or more. Humanoids typically have a better drop rate than other creatures on average. Also a tip to remember, if you go into tailoring, you will find that you will also get additional cloth drops, and they can add up very quickly.
