The evolution of the game world

Every teenager has a reason behind him, buying a computer. He urges his parents saying that I have a Java practice lab in my third semester and I need to program on my computer. Did that give his parents the impulse? But the main reason behind buying a desktop computer is Internet, music, movies and something else too… GAMES!

I do not deny that there are some students who also use their computer for Java. But is there a build without winamp or media player? Obviously, everyone opts for music as their first option for a “let me relax for a while” moment. That too with the parents keeping popcorn before the idiot box, we all had a good time playing on the comp.

A recent poll among college students suggested that alcohol and drugs have been surpassed and that music and games have taken the number one spot.

Whether it is an 8-bit television video game or the latest x-box from Microsoft, gaming has been a great passion among teenagers and children. Some people consider the inventors of “play station” GOD! But how did all of these evolve?

Early computer users will remember playing PRINCE OF PERSIA on their 64MB RAM comps with Windows 95. Back then, a computer was not a “just in every home” product. It was expensive and the Internet was only accessible in the navigation centers. The 8-bit television video game came to cancellation for game fans. The joy of playing video games on Sundays multiplied when I was with my friends in the apartment. We all had an 8-bit television video game. And they all mastered “SUPER MARIO”. At one point I thought we knew all the one-ups in SUPER MARIO. Then the craze piled up and more cartridges were bought. 76 in one was the most wanted. Everyone switched to SUPER CONTRA.

But the problem was that it never appeased the game fans who played cricket or some other sport in the 8 bit mode. For example, in ALLAN BORDER CRICKET (ABC), the bowler’s action was often as if he were bowling the ball. (still looked better than Srilankan sppedstar MALLINGA action). A 16-bit TV video game (SEGA) hit the market and it wasn’t much of a difference all together. Bob and Bill wanted more action, better graphics.

So it was an era about PC gaming. Many games were available on CD. No one I knew bought them. These games were downloaded from the Internet or lent to you by a friend. Nobody pays for software in our country. Spare partnership companies.

EA SPORTS just rocked out with real-time sports. Whether it’s FIFA or TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR.

The graphics are amazing and got better with every new release. I still remember the characteristic smile of Tiger Woods. Oh darling! that was almost like watching Woods on ESPN. And for lovers of action and adventure, they also loved the world of video games.

And then the gaming market saw the contemporary release of x-box and play station.

Both consoles had great work behind them and the graphics were quite realistic. Each release saw something new. You can and should call it ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.

In the ONI adventure game, I was supposed to go to a training before the game and was asked to practice running. Once the task was done, I was not satisfied and kept running. To my surprise, I heard the voice yell “you’ll have more time to practice running. Now go to the door.”

Another thing that left a deep impression on my mind was the comments and the roar of the crowd in FIFA. When it’s a home game and the striker gets the ball into the box and shoots at the post, you can hear the crowd “ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh”. The magnitude is not so much when the visiting team does the same. Oh honey, that was amazing. And now, in FIFA 06, you can push the ball forward in the direction you’re running. This was a realistic idea from the designer team. And now the games are already a small number of CDs and DVDs, I don’t know where we are going.

The latest version of GRAND THEFT AUTO (GTA) comes on five CDs.

Is more innovation possible? Sony releases the Play Station 3 in less than a month from now and I swear a few thousand gaming fans will have it in their homes by Christmas.

But what else is possible? I guess FIFA can’t be improved much. It is already at its peak. It’s more like a real game on ESPN.

It all started with “SUPER MARIO”. Just like everyone on the internet has a Yahoo account; I guess everyone has played SUPER MARIO once in their life.

Let’s find out if there is anyone who hasn’t played SUPER MARIO.
