One of the routines adopted by many users is to go to YouTube to watch music videos while they work. A group of Japanese programmers created Scrolling Lyric Player – KaraoBird for YouTube. This is an add-on for Mozilla Firefox, when installed it allows the user to access YouTube and the lyrics of the song being played in a separate frame. Remember that this function does not apply to all videos, but in most of them the result is satisfactory. If the video you want to watch does not have lyrics, the message will appear below the screen.

After installing this plugin, all you need to do is sign in to YouTube, but put the “music” extension at the end of the address: http://www.youtube.com/music. Then just find your favorite music videos and run them normally. On the right side of the screen, a new dialog will appear, synchronizing the lyrics with what appears in the video.

Even when the plugin is active, it does not compromise browser performance or video loading. Undoubtedly a simple and practical solution that provides differential fun to the user. Now your favorite songs on YouTube will have a different meaning.
