Fiji’s Top 10 Attractions

1) The Mamuanca Islands, a collection of more than 30 small islands located off the coast of Nadi, is one of the highlights of any trip to Fiji. By signing up for one of the many tours available, travelers can get to see most of the Mamuanca Islands in one day. Some tours even offer snorkeling, kayak fishing, and dolphin watching opportunities.

5) For those who prefer to spend their holidays in the water, the Scuba Bula diving center is a 5-star dive center that offers excellent dives in some of the highest, virgin and intact reefs in the world. The waters are crystal clear and the marine life is lush and diverse, with hundreds of species of reef fish. The Center actually has 22 dive sites, making it easy for clients to enjoy all kinds of dives, including cave, canyon, wall dives, and swims.

6) Shark Encounter Aqua-Trek is another one of Fiji’s most famous dives that had to be on this list due to its thrill factor and uniqueness. In a single dive, visitors can encounter eight species of sharks and nearly 300 species of fish! 10) The Yasawa Islands, accessible by a two-hour ferry ride from Nadi, are a series of small volcanic coral islands, many of which are fishing villages. The islands are close enough that travelers can go “beach hopping” from one resort to another; many cheap hotels are now also available for backpackers who need to adjust their budgets.
