Bathroom cleaning

The bathroom is a place where hygiene and cleanliness is very important. It should be cleaned regularly when deep cleaning is required on a weekly basis. Normally, the interior of a bathroom is made in such a way that it is easy to clean and maintain. Here are some simple steps to clean the bathroom.

Toilet:
You can use special toilet cleaners to clean the toilet. Be careful when using chemicals to wash. Rinse it properly and wash it well. Never use toilet bowl cleaners (chemicals) in the bathtub. For cleaning and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes for a better result, then scrub with a toilet brush (better if it is long-handled). This cleaning should be done daily.

Bathtubs and sink:
Some of the supplies you need to clean your bathtub and sink are a mold remover, a disinfectant bathroom cleaner, an old toothbrush or grout brush, a soft bristle brush, and a sponge. The walls and the frame above the tub and sink should be cleaned before cleaning begins. Leave the solution on the walls and then leave it for 5-10 minutes for best results. Use an old toothbrush to get into hard-to-reach areas like corners, around faucets, or grout around the tub. Then rinse off the solution using the brush and wash properly. Use the sponge to remove the water marks from the walls.

Mirrors:
Mirrors add to the curb appeal of a bathroom, so it’s important to keep them sparkling clean. Use glass cleaners for best results, apply with a sponge or spray directly onto the glass, then wipe with a lint-free cloth or paper towel. Crumpled up newspaper can also be used as the ink will act as a brightener. Always clean mirrors horizontally or vertically.

Countertops:
They are typically made of strong, inert, stain-resistant materials such as ceramic tile, cultured marble, and plastic laminate. Most will respond well to a simple regular cleaning with a sponge dampened with water. If you have a plastic laminate countertop and it has gotten really dirty, you can use the rough side of a damp sponge to gently rub away the grease and grime, before wiping with the sponge side.

Showers:
Glass shower enclosures and walls can be cleaned with a sponge dipped in white vinegar, which will help keep them dazzling. For tiled walls, turn on the shower with the hottest water temperature and soak the walls. Use a mixture of 1/2 cup vinegar, 1 cup clear ammonia, and 1/4 baking powder all mixed in 1 gallon of warm water and apply to tile with a sponge. Rinse well with clean water.

Bathroom floor:
After finishing all the cleaning, the floor should be cleaned. Cleaning depends on the type of floors. Mop the floor after cleaning.

Important note:
During cleanup, you should always wear gloves and eye protection and keep the area well ventilated.
