The car trailer has evolved over the years. Originally, you would have to borrow your grandfather’s truck, a piece of chain or rope, and haul it yourself. In case the damaged car was part of an accident and its rear wheels are flat or unable to turn; it will be impossible for a normal crane to take you anywhere. You need the rear wheels to turn so you can drag it behind the truck. In the case of the rollback crane, you will not have a problem because the car will not roll behind it. The car will be sitting on top of the platform.

A rollback is a definite plus when you’ve been in an accident or just can’t start your car. Some people even use them to get their cars delivered from one city to another without risking someone driving their car cross country. Most of the towing companies have these available and in case you need a trailer it will be better and safer for your car to be transported and not towed, ask the attendants to send you a back tow truck and not a normal tow truck.
