“If you want to change the fruits, you will first have to change the roots. If you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible.” T. Harv Eker.
Those are the famous words of one of my mentors T. Harv Eker. I first put Mr. Eker in his book “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”. He explained to me that in order to change our fruits, we must first change the roots of the tree.
I want you to imagine a tree. Suppose this tree represents the tree of life. On this tree there are fruits. In Life, our fruits are called our results. So I want you to look at the fruits (our results), if we don’t like the size of the fruits or they are bitter, what do we do?
Would most of us focus more on the fruits or the results? We would water the tree so that it produces more fruit. I want you to think about what really creates the fruits. Aren’t the seeds and the roots that create those fruits?
Change the ROOTS to Change the FRUIT. It is what is under the earth that creates what is above the earth.
It is the invisible that creates the visible. So what does that mean? So what does Mr. Eker mean by that? He means that if you want to change the fruits, you will first have to change the roots. If you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible.
In my experience, what you cannot see in this world is much more powerful than anything you can see. There are tangible and intangible things that most of us find difficult to understand. We are part of nature and nature has laws that neither you nor I can change even if we wanted to.
This is exactly why putting your attention on the fruits you have already grown is useless. You cannot change the fruits that are already hanging on the tree. However, you can change the fruits for tomorrow. I must add, for this to really happen, you must first dig under the ground and take care of the roots (inner self).
