Plot
Story with May, who is the owner of the magazine “La moda y la ciudad”. Maya lives in a bungalow together with her mother, since her parents were separated and Maya is very afraid of her father (Ashwin) due to the cruel nature of her past. This leads Maya to behave differently around men. And now, the plot introduces Arjun, a cool laid back guy who leads a simple life with his family (his mother) and dotes on his brother Saanjh (his childhood friend). Saanjh is a lawyer, who takes the case of Maya’s company that did a warm up between them. he gradually develops feelings towards Arjun but fails to express them. Except Arjun, both family members including Arjun’s brother feel happy when they find out about their feelings towards Arjun.
As photography is his (Arjun) passion, later Arjun takes a job with Maya. Later, Maya makes Arjun so nervous with his strange behavior towards everyone. One day, Arjun comes to know that Ashwin is in trouble with Maya and saves her from her. It created a soft corner towards him and begins to pay attention to it. Slowly, Maya fell in love with Arjun with his calm demeanor. And now the Evil in Maya is turned on, when she finds out that she also has the same feelings towards Arjun. Maya’s love towards love is unconditional which is why she becomes so possessive when someone tries to get close to Arjun and she starts creating trouble in her friendship. One fine day, Maya expresses her love to Arjun, which leaves him in shock.
While working together in Mauritius, Arjun proposes to Maya and they plan to get married while in USA. Arjun’s mother doesn’t like Maya because she kills her father who tried to kill Arjun. As a part of this, slowly, Maya tries to separate Arjun from his family, friendships, relationships and Arjun decides to cut all ties. And now the Evil in her totally comes out after finishing a 3 Year jump of her marriage.
Maya watches over him 24/7 and eventually Arjun becomes a frustrated husband due to her extreme love, obsession and control over him. Meanwhile, he returns from the US with his boyfriend, who is actually an obsessed lover of Maya’s. He was using her in the name of her love to get to Maya and saanjh was unaware of this. Maya and Arjun become closer and stronger than before and she gets pregnant.
Meanwhile, she knows Samay’s true colors and dumps him. Samay realizes that Maya was just using him and starts blackmailing her in reverse. As part of her revenge, she kidnaps Maya and while Arjun rescues her, Maya kills Samay. After this incident, Maya is admitted to the mental hospital and gets a word from Arjun that he not meet her until he is well. After 6 months, Maya returns home for the baby shower. The biggest twist coming here was the love revenge trap set up by Maya, Arjun was accused of sentenced to death while she was fined Rs 1 Lakh. Somehow Arjun realizes that Maya was still alive and it was all her trap.
She wants Arjun to be hanged and then she will commit suicide so that both of them can be reunited in death. This is the reason why she is invisible to everyone. However, Arjun escapes from jail with the help of Ayaan and Saanjh starts collecting all the evidence against Maya. One more twist coming now is that Samay returns to Maya and gives her 2 options i.e. join him or hand over Arjun? Maya chooses to join Samay and decides to kill her…
